Privacy Policy

We believe in transparency. Here's exactly what we do with your data.

Last updated: December 25, 2024

1. Introduction

Welcome to ClaraVerse. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our privacy-first AI platform.

ClaraVerse is designed with privacy as a core principle. We offer two deployment options:

  • Community Version: Operates entirely locally on your device, ensuring your data never leaves your machine.
  • Cloud Version: Uses TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) protection, combined with local browser storage for sensitive data.

The Short Version

We collect only what's necessary to provide ClaraVerse services. Your data is encrypted, you can export it anytime, and you can delete everything with one click. We don't sell your data. Ever.

2. Trusted Execution Environment (TEE)

Trusted Execution Environment (TEE)

Our cloud infrastructure runs within a Trusted Execution Environment - a secure, isolated area of the processor that ensures your data is protected even from the infrastructure operators. This means:

  • Your data is encrypted in memory during processing
  • No one, including ClaraVerse operators, can access your unencrypted data
  • Hardware-level security guarantees protect against tampering

Local Browser Storage

Sensitive configuration and credentials are stored locally in your browser, never transmitted to our servers. You maintain complete control over this data and can clear it at any time.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Community Version (Local)

When using the Community Version, we do not collect, store, or transmit your conversations, code, images, or any other data generated through the application. All processing happens locally on your device.

3.2 Cloud Version

When using the Cloud Version, your data is processed within our TEE-protected infrastructure. We collect the following:

Account Information

User ID and email address provided by your authentication provider (Supabase). This is the minimum needed to identify your account.

Content You Create

  • Conversations — Chat messages and conversation history
  • Uploaded Files — Images, PDFs, CSV, Excel, JSON, and other files you upload for AI processing
  • Agents & Workflows — Custom AI agents and workflows you build
  • Credentials — Encrypted API keys for external providers you configure
